Phase 3 Expansion







Resorts World Manila’s Phase 3 is expected to comprise two new hotels – the Hilton Manila and the Sheraton Hotel Manila – as well as an extension of Maxims Hotel. The two new hotels and the Maxims Hotel extension are expected to add an aggregate of 855 new rooms to Resorts World Manila, as well as a new gaming area with an aggregate of approximately 17,955 sq. m. in gross floor area. The expected increased room count upon the completion of Phase 2 and Phase 3 will permit the Company to add a total of up to 285 gaming tables, 1,710 slots and 1,710 ETGs. The Company will begin adding to its gaming capacity progressively as new hotel rooms become available. Approximately 1,750 sq. m. of additional retail space is expected to be constructed across the two hotels and the extension, while six basement parking decks are expected to be built beneath the hotels and extension with a total of 1,500 parking spaces.


The Company is developing two new seven-storey hotels, the Hilton Manila and Sheraton Hotel Manila as part of the Phase 3 expansion. The Hilton Manila and Sheraton Hotel Manila are expected to feature five-star accommodations with approximately 352 rooms and approximately 350 rooms, respectively. The Company is currently receiving design support from Hilton International Manage LLC and Starwood Development Consulting Services (AP) Pte. Ltd., and the exterior and interior designs of both hotels are expected to reflect branding features and characteristics found at Hilton and Sheraton hotels across the world. One floor of each of the Hilton Manila and Sheraton Hotel Manila is expected to feature an additional gaming space of 17,955 sq. m. in total, while another floor of the hotels will have a retail space of 1,750 sq. m. in total, featuring various shopping and dining options. The Company intends to construct footbridges with moving walkways connecting the two hotels with other gaming and non-gaming areas of Resorts World Manila, including Maxims Hotel and its extension. Under relevant agreements, Hilton International Manage LLC and Starwood Asia Pacific Hotels & Resorts Pte Ltd. are restricted from operating hotels under the Hilton and Sheraton brands, respectively, within a defined area around Resorts World Manila.

The Hilton Manila and Sheraton Hotel Manila hotels will be adjacent to the Maxims Hotel extension and across from the Company’s headquarters. Excavation at the site began in May 2013 and construction on both hotels began in March 2014, with completion expected by the fourth quarter of 2017.
