2 towers of Gaisano condo 90% sold

A MULTI-BILLION peso condominium project of the Gaisano Group of Companies reported a very fast sales take-up, selling 90 percent of its first two towers in less than a year.

Grand Residences, the flagship resort-themed project of Grand Land Inc, will hold its topping off ceremony of the two 15-storey towers on Oct. 9.

Grand Land Inc. president Ryan Bernard Go said in an interview that in the first half of next year, it will start the construction of tower 3.

“We actually set 15 years for the entire development of Grand Residences but given the kind of take up we are experiencing now, I think we’ll finish earlier than expected,” said Go.

Grand Residences is located in a 3.2 hectare property on Gov. M. Cuenco St. in Banilad, crossing all the way to President Roxas St. in Mabolo.

The resort-themed residential community has 2,400 units of one-bedroom and two-bedroom options of 22 square meters and 60 square meters, respectively. Unit prices are pegged at P1.8 million to P6.3 million.

Go said a big chunk of their buyers are overseas Filipino workers while others are Americans, Singaporeans and Japanese nationals.

For their buyers who see condo ownership as a form of investment, Go said Colliers International, a global real estate services company, as the one who will property manage Grand Residences.

Aside from Grand Residences, Grand Land is also developing another condominium project in Mactan, the Amani Grand Residences. Go said the low-rise, resort-themed condo will be nuilt near the Mactan Cebu International Airport.

Other projects of Grand Land are situated in Mandaue, Mactan and Minglanilla, which are named as City Homes and are classified as middle-income horizontal projects.
