Coalescing heritage with ultra-modern infusions, the Admiral Baysuites is the rebirth of Admiral Hotel as a European-inspired luxury boutique hotel and a 53-storey residential condominium.
The residential building is laid out to feature two separate wings. The West Wing offers spacious residential suites of three to five bedrooms in flat or bi-level. Hailed as the perfect next acquisition after a house and lot in Forbes Park, these opulent units include the Premiere and Director Suites which come with their own private pools.
The East Wing, on the other hand, offers more practical, one and two-bedroom residential suites. All of the units are laid out to maximize space and are fully furnished with carefully chosen fixtures.
Aside from the fantastic size, layout, and furnishings of the units, unit owners in the 53-storey luxury residential suites may avail of all the offerings of the hotel, including concierge, security and housekeeping services.
Conceptualized to become “an exclusive club in a condo,” the premiere club amenities of the property complete the grand experience.

Anchor Land holds ‘Iconic Impressions’
Luxury real estate developer Anchor Land culminates its “Iconic Impressions Manila Bay” Photography Contest with an awards night at Sofitel Philippine Plaza last July 1. The Boracay Ballroom was an elegant viewing gallery, displaying images of the Manila Bay and its fabled sunset. Prominent members of society, art aficionados, and guests were invited to witness the awarding of 16 photos – the front-running, final entries of the contest.
The developer conducted the contest to capture the timeless beauty of the Manila Bay in photographs. The nationwide contest ran from March 19 to June 17, accommodating hundreds of submissions from all over the country.
“My team and I wanted to come up with a plan that would promote the Manila Bay heritage and the beautiful City of Manila. After all, two of Anchor Land’s landmark developments, the Admiral Baysuites and the Admiral Boutique Hotel, are situated in the premium side of one of Manila’s most scenic locations – Roxas Boulevard by the Manila Bay. We wanted to find a way to highlight the incomparable beauty and magnificence of this location and help the City of Manila reclaim its old glory. And this is how the Iconic Impressions: The Manila Bay Photography Contest was born,” said Anchor Land President Elizabeth Ventura.
Anchor Land’s stately Admiral projects are the redevelopments of the original Admiral Hotel, which was once home to prominent individuals and statesmen including General Douglas MacArthur.
The Admiral Boutique Hotel, once it opens in 2016, will be recognized as the first five-star boutique hotel in the country, and the only hotel in the Philippines that will be part of the Accor Group’s MGallery Collection. Connected to it is the residential condominium of Admiral Baysuites which aims to bring back the refined luxury of Old Manila lifestyle. Adding value to the property is the location of Admiral Baysuites by the bay and its unobstructed view of the Manila Bay sunset.
During the awarding, 16 of the best images from both the professional and enthusiast categories of the contest were recognized for their aesthetic value and visual appeal.
Two grand prize winners were awarded. The enthusiast category grand prize winner took home a P50,000 cash prize, a trophy, and a certificate of excellence. The professional category grand prize winner received P100,000, a trophy, and a certificate of excellence.
The three runners-up per category each received P5,000 cash prize and a certificate while the remaining finalists each received a certificate.
The awards night has a “Filipiniana and American 1920’s fusion” theme – an ode to the original Admiral Hotel’s heyday when the City of Manila was recognized as the center of commerce, culture, and tradition.
Guests mingled and traded stories about art, photography, and Manila, while being entertained by master of ceremonies, Johnny Litton. Also in attendance were the judges: landscape photographer Edwin Martinez, fashion designer Frederick Peralta and architectural historian and urban planner Paulo Alcazaren.
Alcazaren, along with Gemma Cruz and Isidra Reyes, also graced the stage, speaking about their experiences and knowledge about Old Manila and the Manila Bay heritage.
