Megaworld building tower in Iloilo


ILOILO CITY—Megaworld Corp., the country’s leading real estate developer and pioneer of townships, introduces another modern luxury residential condominium that is poised to be the tallest building in the region.

Standing 80 meters high at 22 stories, The Palladium will also be Western Visayas’ first residential tower with its own skygardens in various floors overlooking the spectacular views of the booming city.

“Since last year, we have been experiencing consistent growth in the demand for residential towers in Iloilo Business Park. Property developer to build Western Visayas’ tallest building

Iloilo City, Iloilo – When it’s finally finished , the 22-story residential tower being built by major property developer Megaworld Corp. in Iloilo City will be the tallest building to rise in Western Visayas.

It will surpass Injap Tower, currently the tallest in the region, by one floor; the building is owned by Mang Inasal founder, Edgar Sia II.





Megaworld First Vice President Jericho Go said the 80-meter building named The Palladium will set a new record for Iloilo City and the rest of Region VI.

Megaworld Marketing and Communications Directior Harold Geronimo informed that The Palladium will be the first residential tower in Western Visayas to have a sky garden.

“This would allow residents an unobstructed view of Iloilo City,” he said.

Aside from a sky garden, The Palladium will also feature several swimming pools and a day care center.

“We want our residents to feel at home,” said Jennifer Palmares-Fong, head of marketing of Iloilo Business Park.

Go said Megaworld is pushing for more development projects at its P35-billion Iloilo Business Park, which is located at the site of the old Iloilo airport .

Construction ongoing within the 72-hectare Iloilo Business Park are hotels and condominium towers and buildings to house business process outsourcing (BPO) companies.

The Iloilo Convention Center, which will be the site of two ministerial meetings of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Summit in 2015, is also located within Megaworld’s Iloilo Business Park.

Meanwhile, projected revenues from The Palladium residential project is pegged at P2.8 billion.

Megaworld sees Palladium sales at P2.8B


ILOILO CITY -- Property developer Megaworld Corp. announced plans to build a 22-storey residential condominium, set to be the tallest in Iloilo and the Western Visayas region, which will generate some P2.8 billion worth of revenue.
The Palladium is the third residential condominium project at the 72-hectare Iloilo Business Park, Megaworld’s flagship development here. It will also be the first residential building with loft units, said Head of Marketing Jennifer Palmares-Fong.

“Since last year, we have been experiencing consistent growth in the demand for residential towers in Iloilo Business Park. Selling the four towers of our first two residential projects, One Madison Place and Lafayette Park Square, was very easy,” she said.

The 10-storey One Madison Place and 14-storey Lafayette Park Square have two buildings each.

“Now, we are on our fifth tower which will be offering another set of unique, first-of-its-kind amenities and features that Ilonggos can boast of,” Ms. Palmares-Fong added.

Public Relations Head Harold Geronimo said the new tower is projected to generate P2.8 billion in revenue.

The Palladium will feature four skygardens in various floors overlooking Iloilo City. It will have 482 units, ranging from studios to two-bedroom unit. The first two floors will be released as commercial and retail spaces.

Jericho P. Go, Megaworld senior vice-president, said the company “wants to develop a livable environment that is convenient, accessible and safe,” he said.

The Iloilo Business Park was built on the site of the old Iloilo airport in Mandurriao District.
